What kind of car do u have ? I have a compact car

Various kinds of cars:(Classification base on the car body style)

1) Mcrocar(Bubble car)=The smallest automobile classification

2) Subcompact car=super mini car=city car=a car larger than microcar and smaller than compact car and its lenght not exceeding than 419mm
Many Hatchbacks is in this catagory

3) Compact car(American)=Small family car(British)=A medium sized car=larger than subcompac car but smaller than mid-size car their long is 445mm
Many Hatchbacks is in this catagory

4) Sedan(American)/Saloon car(british)=It has 3 campartments seprately :the passenger compartment features 2 rows if two seats and enough passenger space in the rear compartment for adult passnegers,the cargo cpmpartment is in the rear
Sedan cars is the one of most common car body styles

5)Super car=Very expecnsive and fast sport car

6) Convertible car=is a kind of automoble it can convert from open_air mode to provisional enclosed(roofed)

7) Roadster car=Is an open 2 seat car with emphasis on sporty handling often they have soft tops

8) Mini van=large MPV=it is a decribtion for a van,and has a high interior volume

NOTE
we have the othere classification of cars like:

Transmission=Assembly of parts includingthe speed-changing gears and propeller shaft by which the power is transmitted from engine to a live axle(clutch+gearbox+prop shaft)
Often transmission refers simply to the gearbox

NOTE
A hotel with free parking is wrong because parking is non countable noun and u can not use it with a(parking) but u can use parking space or parking place when u mention to one space to park
There is a parking space(not Parking) in front of that house

U can use car park or parking lot when u mention to a space to park in area or building

I used to have a really fast open-topped sport car when I was younger but It is not very practical in the winter.

My neighbor's car went off at 2am and work the whole street up!
The thieves ran away when the alarm went off

The seats are really comfortable

There is no window roller,the windows are opened and closed automatically

The car key is in the ignition switch

The door lock does not work

7) Rear view mirror
Let me adjust the rear view mirror

8) Side mirror(American)= Wing mirror (British)
The side mirror is broken

9) Rear window/(Front window=Windshield=windscreen)
The rear window is cracked

The streering wheel turns freely.The steering system is hydraulic

Put on your low beams
Dip your high beams(put on low beams),It is dazzling =Blinding the oncoming drivers
Always use low beams in the fog

This is the gearshift

21) Handbrake=Emergency brake
The handbrake is on the left

22) Gas pedal (American)=Accelerator pedal (British)

There is adent on this fender

25) Top/Roof
The top of car is dented
My new Mercedes has a nice sunroof

26) Door
The door is a little (out of=off) kilter,You need to slam it to close it.

27)Trunk (American)=Boot(British)
Please close the trunk (Lid=door)

28) Spare tire
Is the spare tire in the trunk?

29) Roof-rack= Luggage rack
The roof-rack is a little loose

30)Trim
The trim along the sides is nice

31) Accessories
This car has a lot of accessories

32) Signal lights(American)= Indicator lights (British)
One of the signal lights is broken

You have left the taillights

One of the back-up lights does not come on=turn on

The license plate is a little loose

I can not lock the gas tank door

Engine

The engine ticks

My car burnes oil ,The exhaust is blue ,I should get the piston rings changed

Radiator

The radiator is leaking,There must be a leak in it

The radiator is boling over

Fan belt

The fan belt is too loose,It is squeaking

Generator

The generator is out of order

Starter

The starter has burned out

Spark plug

This spark plug is no good

Oil pump

I think the oil pump does not work properly

Fuse
Maybe this fuse is burned out

Exhaust pipe
There is a hole in the exhaust pipe

Oil pan
The oil pan is dented

Brake fluid
Pour some brake fluid in this reservoir

Brake shoes
The brake shoes are worn out

Barakes
The brakes have overheated

Engine overheated=has heated up
The engine has overheated

Part Three Rires and Wheels of car

Tire=Wheel

Take off=Remove the wheel

What are your tires like?

I have 4 brand new tires

Front tires/ (Rear tires=back tires)

The front tires are low(on air),Put some air in the front tires
This tire is not good.Get it changed

Flat tire
The rear tire is flat
Do not forget to get the flat tire (patched=repaired=fixed)

Tube
This tube is (no good=useless),Throw it away

Blow out
I was driving at 100kilimeters when the (rear tire=back tire) blow out

Let some air out of this tire

Loosen the bolts

Jack up the car =Pump up the jack=jack it up
Now,(put the the jack down =Lower the jack ),and fasten the bolts=nuts

Part Four (Gas tank)

Gas tank(American)=Pertol Tank(British)

The gas tank is empty

We are low on gas

We are running out of gas

We should (need to) fill the car

Pull over(American)=pull up(British) , We are out of gas/petrol
Pull over = to drive to the side of the road and stop ypur car,or make someone else do this
The policeman signalled to him to pull over

A cop pulled him over and gave him a spesd ticket
She saw the ambulance coming up behind her and pulled over
He pulled up (stoped) at the traffic lights

Part Five (Looking after a car)

Tune the engine

The engine is not tuned

You are low on oil ,you'd better add some.

You are low on water=The water level is low,put some water

Thin oil / Thick oil

This motor oil is too thin for summer ,You need thicker oil

The fan belt is broken=snapped
Can you tighten the fan belt a little?

Wobble...Aligned

The wheels wobble.I must get/have the wheels alignated

Bald tire

The tires are bald ,You' better have/get them replaced.
Burn out=stop working because it gets too hot or it is used too much.

Recapped/Retreaded Tire
Recap=to restore a used tire to useable condition by bonding ner rubber onto a worn tire tread and lateral surface=put new treads onto tire
Tread=Imprint of the tire
You can have/tires recapped/retreaded
